Note on Husband: William HUNTRISS (1)

Whilst I have a copy of the marriage certificate, there are no details provided for the father of either William or Hannah.

However both parents John & Mary had died by the time of the marriage.

Occupation (per birth cert of Harry) - Rigger. Was dead by the time Harry was married.

Age 27 at time of marriage (per certificate) - this conflicts with GRO information which specifies the birth year of birth as 1854, which would have made him 31.

Residence at time of Marriage - 43 Canterbury Street, Liverpool - mariner

1861 census - living at Hawksley St, Workington with his mother, shown as being age 6

1881 Census - boarder with Thomas Atherton (Master mariner) and his wife at 2, Orry St, Liverpool . Suggests he was born in 1860 (not sure this is the right william)

1891 Census - living with his wife, Harry and elizabeth at 254, Victoria Square, Liverpool (age

1901 census - Living at 247 Victoria Square, All siants parish,

1911 Census - living 51 August Road Tuebrook.with mother in law. Storekeeper, born in Sherburn

1916 - death notice in Liverpool Echo "For many years a faithful servant of the Liverpool Dock Board"
